Research has shown that when the operating temperature of photovoltaic modules exceeds the upper limit, for every 1 ℃ increase in temperature, the photoelectric conversion efficiency will decrease by 3% to 5%, and the overall power generation efficiency will decrease by more than 0.45%. In addition, issues such as panel pollution and glass surface reflection further constrain the utilization of light energy. Therefore, maintaining the components at the optimal operating temperature is the key to breaking through the bottleneck of photovoltaic efficiency.

In response to the above pain points, SGL · SmartCool radiation cooling and efficiency enhancing coating provides an innovative solution. This technology uses low-temperature space as a cold source to achieve passive cooling. Its core lies in breaking through the bottleneck of traditional thermal insulation coatings, relying on nano coating technology composed of polymer and inorganic particles, achieving up to 95% solar reflectance and 95% mid infrared radiation. With excellent optical performance and heat transfer effect, this coating can effectively extend the life of photovoltaic modules, improve light energy conversion efficiency, and is expected to increase power generation efficiency by 8%.
